Dear citizens and visitors of Zagreb!

I would like to use this opportunity to wish a happy 2020 to you and your loved ones! May you have health and joy, a lot of happiness, laughter and love throughout this year!

We are very close to the end of Advent festivities in the city. Numerous sites where Advent-related events are held can still be visited in the first week of January. During this period there is a special atmosphere in Zagreb. Many squares and streets of the city provide an opportunity to enjoy traditional delicacies outdoors. Entertainment, varied gastro offer, unique events, art but also genuine holiday spirit all await you in the streets of the capital.

Snow Queen Trophy is back this year to bring joy to spectators and contestants. It will again take place on Sljeme in Zagreb. Snow Queen Trophy - Audi FIS Ski World Cup is a skiing spectacle that has been organised on Zagreb’s Sljeme since 2005. Proximity of the capital, excellent organisation and unique atmosphere created by cheering have made the competition Snow Queen Trophy, which is a part of Audi FIS Ski World Cup, a favourite destination of the world’s best skiers. A prestigious sporting event gathering the world’s best slalom skiers unites two races of the Audi FIS World Cup. I invite as many of you as possible to once again join us and help us confirm our title of the loudest and most cheerful hosts.

Museum Night, which has become a tradition, will take place in January. The manifestation is organised by the Croatian Museum Association, and museums, galleries, libraries, archives and other heritage but also scientific and educational institutions throughout Croatia take part in it. Entrance to museums is free of charge. Special programmes are also organised in museums, such as exhibition opening events, concerts, performances, promotions, specially designed guided tours, gift giving or sales of museum’s publications and souvenirs and similar.
