Featuring performances by great bands

Apart from the line-up of renowned bands from the global music scene scheduled to perform at the 9th INmusic Festival, visitors of the Island of Croatian Youth at Zagreb’s Jarun Lake will also have the opportunity to enjoy other programs as part of the festival to take place between the 23rd and 25th of June.

The Black Keys, Pixies, MGMT, Foals, Flogging Molly, Wolfmother… These are just a few of the bands from a long line-up of performers of this year’s INmusic Festival, taking place between the 23rd and 25th of June on the Island of Croatian Youth at Jarun Lake. The 9th edition of the largest open-air festival in Croatia will traditionally be taking place for three days. Organizers have also announced that this year’s festival will feature an even greater variety of programs and other novelties.

After years of numerous acknowledgements, INmusic was once again included on the National Geographic Traveller’s list of the top three festivals in the world, while one of the most influential American political websites, Huffington Post, nicknamed it the Woodstock of the 21st century, including it on its list of the top ten not-to-be-missed festivals around the world. The same was done by travel websites such as GlobalGrasshopper and TravelFreak.

Since last year, the INmusic Festival also features theatre plays as part of INteatar, which was accepted with great interest by audiences. Last year, Zijah Sokolović and Vilim Matula performed their very successful monodramas, “CABAres CABArei” and “Munchhausen”, respectively, while the special guests were directors Slobodan Šijan and Rajko Grlić. This year, on the other hand, the audience will have the opportunity to see the longest running play in the world, “Stilske vježbe (Exercises in Style)”, which doyens of Croatian performing arts, Lela Margetić and Pero Kvrgić, have been performing for 46 years, thereby making it into the Guinness Book of World Records. That, however, is not all! Visitors of this year’s INmusic Festival can also expect an array of diverse programs, including the popular RockIN Horse, Stribor’s Forest, Balkan Party, “Tko pjeva zlo ne misli” (He who sing means no harm), as well as many other surprises.
