INmusic Festival #14 – The Wish List is Open

While you’re following the news on the 14th INmusic festival, the INmusic team bring a breath of Havana to Tvornica on International Women’s Day with the Afro-Cuban All Stars

After a sold-out INmusic #13 we are waiting impatiently for this year’s festival which will be held on 24 – 26 June at the usual location on an islet on Zagreb’s Jarun Lake. A wish list has been opened allowing guests to vote for their favourites who they would like to see perform at the 14th INmusic festival. You can find the wish list on the Festival site www.inmusicfestival.com, where you can vote for your five favourite performers. The INmusic festival has announced the first big headliner – The Cure. One of the best current British live bands, Foals, will also be playing on the main stage. Renowned American chanteuse Laura Pergolizzi, better known as LP, has also confirmed. Kurt Vile, one of the most lauded young artists of contemporary indie rock, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer is also coming to INmusic. Frank Turner, punk troubadour favourite and one of the most successful British performers of the past decade, is another one of the newly confirmed acts. He will be coming to INmusic with his band The Sleeping Souls. Garbage, the American rock band fronted by the legendary Shirley Manson will grace the INmusic festival stage for the first time ever. The totally unique ragga punk metal foursome Skindred are bringing heavy riffs and energetic moves to the stage.

And the Afro-Cuban All Stars will be bringing a breath of Havana to Zagreb. They will be playing Tvornica kulture on 8 March, International Women’s Day, brought to us by the INmusic Festival! The Afro-Cuban All Stars were formed by musical director Juan de Marcos González with the idea of forming a band of his heroes – singers from the golden era of Cuban music. The band is made up of four generations of the best Cuban musicians.
