It has been officially confirmed – Lady Gaga will perform in Zagreb on November 5th and the concert organizers are announcing a rarely seen spectacle. The extravagant diva will hold a concert in Zagreb as part of her big European tour called “The Monster Ball Tour”, which began in May.
Fans of Lady Gaga, currently one of the world’s most famous pop divas, were thrilled to learn that she will perform at the Zagreb Arena on November 5th. The concert is part of her big European tour called “The Monster Ball Tour”, which began in Stockholm this past month. According to the organizers, it was supposed to be a spring tour but, considering her huge popularity and long sold out concerts, the pop diva’s tour will continue throughout the autumn, when she will perform in Zagreb.
Organizers are announcing nothing short of a spectacle as the pop icon’s entourage includes almost seventy tons of equipment. As a consequence, the usual capacity of the Zagreb Arena will be reduced to exactly 10,350 seats, which means that the tickets will most certainly be sold out in record time.
In comparison, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, and Beyonce used half as much equipment during their performances at the Arena, which is yet more proof of the undisputed extravagance of this contemporary pop icon.
The stage, according to the organizers from Lupa Promotion, will take up most of the Arena’s interior space. It will consist of two sections and one long runway along which Lady Gaga will display her extravagantly recognizable choreography to the Zagreb audience. Her performance will certainly serve to show why she is hailed as the greatest pop icon of our time, and nicknamed Madonna of the 21st century.
This is not surprising as her music influences include pop legends such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Queen, whose song “Radio Ga Ga” was the inspiration for her stage name. She began her career in music as a child and at the age of four she learned to play the piano. In the following years she became known as a songwriter for Britney Spears and the once mega-popular boy band and pioneers of the genre, New Kids on The Block. She started her solo career only a few years ago but, although she has thus far released only three albums - “The Fame”, “The Fame Monster” and “The Cherrytree Sessions” - she has already gained worldwide fame. Her previous hits such as “Poker Face”, “Just Dance”, “Paparazzi”, and “Bad Romance”, as well as the latest “Telephone” and “Alejandro”, are often aired by radio stations across the globe.
Concert tickets can already be purchased at prices ranging between 370 and 800 kuna.
