Between November 7th and 9th, the Trešnjevka Culture Centre will be the venue for the 7th PSSST! Silent Film Festival. Unique in concept, this festival attractively presents silent films and offers filmmakers the opportunity to express their creativity through this
specific genre in the competitive part of the programme. Apart from the competitive programme, audiences will also have the opportunity to enjoy masterpieces from the golden era of silent film, as well as their contemporary counterparts.

Since the deadline for submission of works for this year's festival is October 15th, both professional film makers and amateurs can still apply online at www.festivalnijemogafilma.com. The only condition is that the authors agree to remove the audio from their work and to add a live music background which will create a special atmosphere for the viewers. The audience will award the best film with the "Brcko" Award, named after the main protagonist of the first Croatian feature film in 1917. Since it is an unusual film event, this festival represents a real treat for film aficionados and usually attracts numerous visitors.
