Swiss Airline Baboo Connects Zagreb and Geneva

The regular international connection between Zagreb and Geneva, which has been reinstated these days by the Swiss airline carrier Baboo, will transport passengers twice a week throughout the entire year.

Recently, the Swiss airline carrier Baboo has set up a regular international service between Zagreb and Geneva which will transport passengers twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The price of a round trip ticket, including all taxes, will be 199 Euro. According to the Swiss carrier, many of the Swiss and French see great potential for business here considering the fact that Croatia is one of the fastest growing markets in Europe. Besides that, the expectations for growth of international traffic on this route are influenced by the fact that a great number of Croatians work and live in Switzerland and France.

The airline company Baboo was established in 2003 by Julian Cook in Geneva and operates flights between 18 cities in Europe. Baboo had nearly 500,000 passengers last year. Aside from the regular flights, the company also organizes charter flights, mostly to popular Mediterranean destinations. The leaders of the Swiss airline carrier estimate that traffic on the regular route between Zagreb and Geneva will continue to grow even more in the future.
