The First Wine Gourmet Festival Takes Place

The first Wine Gourmet Festival is scheduled to take place in early March at the Mimara Museum. Its visitors will be able to taste the selected wines made by top-class producers from Croatia and abroad, as well as many original local and foreign delicacies.

On 7 and 8 March, the Mimara Museum will be the venue of the first Wine Gourmet Festival. Some ninety exhibitors from the country and abroad are expected to present the best of their products to the visitors. As viticulture and wine making have been gaining popularity in Croatia, our country will be represented by some fifty renowned winemakers who will present their products to the audience at the festival. Among the exhibitors from various wine-producing countries with respectable viticulture traditions there will also be 20 of the best known wine producers from Italy, the country partner of the first Wine Gourmet Festival, who will prepare their best treats for the event.

The two organizers of the first festival of wine and delicacies are Gloria magazine and the Zagreb-based Laniva Company, whose brand «1001 Delicija» /1001 Delicacies/ will be the motto of this exhibition. The festival is not a sales event. Its main purpose is rather to promote producers and products. It is intended for all professionals (producers, distributors, restaurateurs), as well as all those wine connoisseurs and gourmets out there who wish to taste top quality products and original domestic and foreign delicacies.
In a special Dolce Vita corner some of the leading chefs will demonstrate their culinary skills.
