The new congress centre, Forum Zagreb, has been opened in the newly developed shopping and business centre Green Gold. Its footprint is 1200 square metres and it boasts 10 multifunctional halls with state of the art technology. Besides the meeting halls, there are also exhibition and banqueting facilities and the entire complex benefits from the rich catering and shopping facilities offered in the shopping and business centre.

The Hrgetić family, who have returned from Venezuela, have invested nearly 4 million kuna into the congress centre. The investors relied on their previous experience in this type of business since their congress centre in Caracas has been operating successfully for 16 years and has so far hosted an impressive 30,000 events.

In the vicinity of Forum Zagreb, which is located in the eastern part of the city, the opening of the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton has been announced to take place in the third quarter of this year. The location will also be home to the business headquarters of many major companies.
