The Lanterna Restaurant at Dolac has won TripAdvisor’s excellence certificate for the sixth year in a row. According to website users, this restaurant has been among the 10 best restaurants in Zagreb for several years now.

The restaurant was opened in 2010 by brothers Ivan and Tomislav Švagelj, and apart from a pleasant family atmosphere it offers traditional local dishes which are prepared using only the freshest ingredients. The owners purchase fresh ingredients every morning at the renowned Dolac market, located in the heart of the city, which is also an attractive symbol of the city and a favourite gathering spot for numerous tourists.
