Zagreb Eye – Number One Tourist Attraction in Town

All of you who come to visit Zagreb do not miss the opportunity to climb the Zagreb Eye observation deck. Not only has it been ranked number one tourist attraction in town but it also offers various entertainment events for all generations.

If you are in the mood for dancing, or simply want to enjoy your favourite tunes, come to the Zagreb Eye, where diverse entertainment is in store for visitors of all generations.

The viewpoint is located on the 16th floor of the skyscraper which was built in 1959 at Zagreb’s main square of Ban Josip Jelačić. It offers a spectacular view of the entire city while providing a different perspective of Zagreb with a 360 degree vista. If you visit the viewpoint with a loved one, this is the place to kiss them, because, according to legend, your love will last forever and your friendship will be sincere. Many romances have begun at the viewpoint, as it was once a prestigious nightlife venue. Numerous generations of Zagreb’s citizens gathered there to dance until the early 1980s when the viewpoint was closed. In the early 2000s, the skyscraper fell under new ownership, and its total refurbishment was completed in 2008. In late May of this year, a new viewpoint was opened at the top. The launch of a new programme of events has brought back the old glamour, offering everyday entertainment for guests of all generations. Morning hours are reserved for children, while all others will have the opportunity to choose from an array of musical events taking place during the rest of the day and evening. These will include a bit of something for everyone, from jazz and blues to other music genres performed by one-man bands, tamburizza ensembles, as well as cabarets, magic shows, etc… It’s up to the guests to take their pick.

The Zagreb Eye is open daily, between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. Visitors can avail themselves of free Wi-Fi and Smart Guide access, while the space is ideal for organizing various corporate events, product presentations, etc.
