FREEWA
Croatian project to preserve drinking water sources, which is here to prove that an initiative from small Croatia can change the world.
We walk freely on Earth, breathe clean air and drink free clean water – these are basic human rights. But only 2.5% of the water on Earth is drinkable, and one billion people do not have access to medically safe water.
FREEWA is a Croatian project to preserve drinking water sources, which is here to prove that an initiative from small Croatia can change the world. The goal of the project is to map all locations in the world with free drinking water in the web and mobile application. In Zagreb, water pumps, popularly known as Franceki among the people of Zagreb, are located in numerous locations throughout the city, and there you can fill your Freewa eco bottle with fresh and potable water.
Let’s do good to nature, the environment and the generations yet to come. Let’s contribute to Earth together.
