An Educationally-Historic Spectacle for the Entire Family

In April, Croatian children will have an opportunity to enjoy one of the currently largest mega-spectacles in the world: “Walking with Dinosaurs,” which will “bring dinosaurs to life” in real-life size. Do not miss out on this opportunity to join the millions of people worldwide who have already experienced this exciting attraction.

A large Tyrannosaurus Rex will finally take a stroll along Zagreb. One of the currently largest mega-spectacles in the world, “Walking with Dinosaurs,” vividly re-enacts prehistory and will feature between the 14th and the 18th of February at the Zagreb Arena. Shows will be held every day and their educational merits can be enjoyed by the entire family.

The spectacle, which has toured practically the entire world since 2007, and has been seen by more than two million people, is based on the multiply-awarded BBC series of the same name. There is one difference, however; instead of the TV screen, the dinosaurs are now coming to you “live”.

The 10 million dollar production consists of 15 “live” animatronics representing real-life size dinosaurs, whose appearance and sounds inspire the same level of awe as they must have done in times when they actually roamed the Earth. The audience will have an opportunity to see ten different kinds of dinosaurs that ruled the Earth for more than 200 million years, including the most famous menace of prehistoric Earth, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, who lived during the Triassic period as did the Plateosaurus and the Liliensternus; the Stegosaurus and Allosaurus come from the Jurassic period, the Torosaurus and the Utahraptor from the Chalk period; the largest, at 11 meters tall and 17 meters long is the Brachiosaurus.

Just like the show, the spectacle features an interesting story about the prehistoric evolution of Earth and the climactic and tectonic changes that led to the extinction of numerous species of animals. With unbelievably realistic effects, battle scenes between dinosaurs, creatures that ruled the planet for over 200 million years, will be presented, displaying in-depth the complete evolution of dinosaurs.

Tickets for this spectacle are already available and can be purchased at Ticketpro offices or via their website at www.ticketpro.hr. Due to the size of the stage, only seated tickets are available, priced at 175, 200, 250 and 300 kuna, while admission for children under three is free.
