An international festival of rosé wines

This year the Mimara Museum will once again be the venue for a gathering of the best manufacturers of rosé wines and champagnes from Croatia as well as abroad, who will present the selected sorts of their subtle rosé on March 7th, as part of the Pink Day Festival.

On March 7th, the Mimara Museum will be the venue for the 3rd Pink Day – an international festival of rosé wines. The festival, organized by WOW – Women on Wine Association, will bring together more than sixty of the best manufacturers of rosé wines and champagne from Croatia as well as abroad. Therefore, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the finest wines produced by renowned manufacturers of the subtle rosé variety.

Apart from interesting workshops and lectures by renowned guests from abroad, since last year the festival has also featured the Festival Green in Pink, with presentations of exquisite products by local and foreign olive oil manufacturers. Finally, the festival also has a humanitarian character; this year, as an introduction to Pink Day, there will also be a Pink Week, during which some of the best restaurants in Zagreb will offer pink menus, and donate all profits to the Europa Donna Foundation. Through its own campaign, Give a Pink Life, the foundation is raising the awareness of breast cancer and its prevention among women, but it also raises funds for the purchase of intraoperative radiation equipment.
