Dear citizens and guests of Zagreb!

Although the Croatian name of the month that lies ahead of us conjures up the feeling of cold, the excellent events which will take place in the month of November will provide a positive and warm atmosphere in the worlds of sport, film, trade activities, music and last, but certainly not least, the magnificent Advent in Zagreb.

The month will kick off with Zagreb’s Night Run 10 K – a 10,000 metre night race through the centre of Zagreb. Participants will run three laps on Zagreb’s streets, through some of the most attractive locations. Every year, the race attracts an increasing number of participants, both professional athletes as well as amateur aficionados of running. We invite you to join them and experience the city in a special sporting atmosphere. Also, by taking part in this event you will help mark the Addiction Fight Month.

Zagreb Fair offers you several attractive trade events including one of particular interest for book lovers: Interliber, the 39^th International Book and Teaching Appliances Fair, which will present the worlds of publishing and creations aimed at education. This fair also offers the largest number of books and teaching appliances in one place. At the same time, I invite you to visit the multimedia fair which will present state-of-the-art technologies and the most important industry players, as well as INOVA, a big international exhibition of innovations with participating delegations from all over the world.

Do not miss the concert by the global music sensation Justin Bieber, the Canadian pop and R&B singer and songwriter. As part of his world tour “Purpose”, he will perform in Arena Zagreb and offer his Croatian and regional fans an impressive concert evening and a musical treat to remember.

We invite film lovers to the 14^th edition of the Zagreb Film Festival, which turns our city  into a film Mecca for 9 days and brings local aficionados a selection of the most attractive short and feature length films from all over the world.

I take great pride in inviting you to the final match of the World Davis Cup between Croatia and Argentina which will take place between November 27^th and 29^th at Arena Zagreb.  Come  and be part of the excellent atmosphere. Cheer on the members of our national team at the most important sporting event this year, not only in Zagreb but also in Croatia as a whole. At the same time, this will be a splendid introduction into Advent in Zagreb, the best Christmas fair event in Europe.
