Dear citizens and visitors of Zagreb!

After all the negative events that happened to us in the last several months and with the improvements in the epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19, we can finally do everything in our power for our beautiful City of Zagreb to become lively again. Many outdoor events await you, which will take place in the fairy-tale locations in the city. Even at a time of the lowest attendance, these events can act as motivation to visit Zagreb, therefore additionally strengthening tourism in the city.

This year once again Summer on Stross 2020 or Strossmartre, which takes place on one of the most romantic promenades in our city - the Strossmayer Promenade, brings a bit of the Parisian spirit to Zagreb. The festival will offer carefully selected music, visual installations, unusual and entertaining activities and prize contests, somewhat nostalgic atmosphere of an outdoor cinema, a possibility to spend time with painters and their canvases and taste a glass of excellent wine. We also recommend visiting Art Park Zagreb in Ribnjak Park, which is a small outdoor street art gallery and a recreational oasis in the city centre with many mingling opportunities linked to music, films and sport. You can visit Baš Naš gourmet & music festival at the Gradec Plateau; it is an indispensable destination for all those searching for an exciting, different and unique place for after work mingling, a relaxed evening out or the pleasure of a tasty meal accompanied by a concert of your favourite band. The manifestation Summer in the Technical Museum will have its third edition this year and offer a varied programme lasting three months. It will bring various activities to the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla, the Hall V and the courtyard of the Museum. The programme includes exhibitions, theatre shows, concerts, DJ sets, pub quizzes, panel discussions and many other activities. After the project finishes, Art Zagreb Fair will take place at the same venue from 27 to 29 August, and Zagreb Design Week will be there from 1 to 6 September.

The 35^th Zagreb Histrionic Summer is there for all those who love culture; its theatre shows will be held on the Opatovina Summer Stage. The Histrion troupe mostly teach their devoted audience about Croatian culture, writers, painters, musicians, history, circumstances, language and also about culture of the world by performing pieces of the greatest role models of the history of theatre.

We are certain that these and many other events will attract your attention and that your stay in this city with outstanding atmosphere will be a pleasant experience. However, the times we live in due to the coronavirus pandemic require permanent precautions so we would like to remind you: stay responsible and take care of yourself and others!
