The calendar of cultural and sporting events in Zagreb is becoming richer and more attractive to the visitors of all tastes. There are many other activities in addition to the Festival of Lights, which will send a message about current events in a specific way, but also stress European unity and solidarity.

Let us for instance mention WRC Croatia Rally, one of the most viewed world races and a true spectacle which will gather the world best rally drivers in Croatia for the second time. Its finish line is in Zagreb.

In the following months, our city will host interesting festivals which will attract renowned film and music authors, but also gather their fans. All of them will get a chance to feel the specific atmosphere of the city and find out about increasingly dynamic and rich gastro scene, whose quality is confirmed by the first edition of the global gastronomic guide Gault&Millau Croatia – Zagreb and the surroundings.

Many visitors to the city, as well as its citizens, will choose Sljeme, the summit of Medvednica mountain, to spend a day in nature. It is accessible by road or on foot, and as of recently, in the newly-built Sljeme Cable Car.

Staying in Zagreb is a chance to get familiar with its culture and sense the atmosphere of the city which shares its values with the rest of Europe.
