Flights between Zagreb and Madrid
After establishing flights to Dubrovnik last year, the Spanish national carrier will introduce regular flights between Zagreb and Madrid, three times a week, as of July 4th.
Iberia, the Spanish national carrier, will introduce regular flights between Zagreb and Madrid on July 4th. The flights are scheduled to occur three times a week until September 20th but, if they prove to be profitable, the Spaniards will maintain them beyond that date.
By introducing new flights between Zagreb and Madrid, Iberia will have increased the number of flights to Croatia, which started last year between Zagreb and Dubrovnik. Those flights will continue as before, three times a week, between June 16th and September 29th. Some 13,000 passengers were flown on these flights last year while, this year, 15,000 seats have been offered. Regular flights between Zagreb and Madrid mean that passengers will also be able to continue traveling within the Iberia network to other Spanish destinations, to Lisbon and Porto in Portugal, as well as to an additional 17 destinations in South America, 5 cities in the United States, and 9 destinations in Africa.
