GusGus at Aquarius
Among the string of musical treats which will mark the autumn concert season, GusGus, a very popular electronic band from Iceland, will play at Aquarius Club on 16th October. Last summer the band delighted the audience at the famous Hartera Festival in Rijeka.
On 16th October, Iceland's currently very popular electronic band GusGus will appear at Zagreb's Aquarius Club at Jarun Lake. This will not be the band's first appearance in Croatia.
The band has been active on the music scene for 17 years. During that time it has harnessed the talents of assorted artists, including musicians, cameramen, producers and other performers who have made films together. As of 2009, the band's permanent members are Stephan Stephensen (President Bongo), Biggi Veira and Daniel Ágúst Haraldsson.
GusGus has so far recorded a total of eight albums. Their last track, “Arabian Horse”, has been described as a blend of modern pop music and electronic club scene rhythms. They promoted the album on board an aircraft at an altitude of 10,000 metres; just more proof of their originality and creativity.
GusGus concert tickets cost 80 kuna and they can be purchased through the Eventim system. If the concert does not sell out ahead of time, tickets bought on the day of the concert will cost 150 kuna. Thus, hurry up and do not miss the opportunity to get your tickets on time. Judging by the reactions of the audience at their last concert at the Hartera Festival in Rijeka, there is no doubt that the GusGus concert in Zagreb will be sold out.
