Milan Bandić, President of the Zagreb Tourist Board (2009 - 2021)

On the occasion of the sudden and premature death of Milan Bandić, longtime Zagreb mayor and president of the Zagreb Tourist Board, Martina Bienenfeld, CEO, and employees of the Zagreb Tourist Board express their sincere condolences to the Bandić family, friends and associates, in these painful moments.

As the president of the Tourist Board, Milan Bandić helped transform the city of Zagreb into one of the leading tourist destinations in Croatia, expressing his unreserved support for all ZTB projects. He left a special mark on Advent in Zagreb, which, according to his idea, got one of the most beautiful outdoor ice rinks and, thus, took the title of the best Christmas Market in Europe three times in a row.

We will remember president Bandić for his tireless energy and infectious enthusiasm, and we thank him for his long-term cooperation and faith in the many Zagreb Tourist Bord's projects which have strengthen the position of Zagreb on the tourist map of Europe and the world.
