Inside Glyptotheque of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts: The First R'n'B Weekend
The first R'n'B Weekend awaits all gourmands and fine wine lovers. In addition to the attendance of competent professionals, the catering and gastronomic scene will also present their best work.
The first R'n'B Weekend Zagreb (Restaurants & Bars Weekend) will take place in Glyptotheque of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts from 23 to 26 May. The festival targets all lovers of fine dining, beverages and coffee, and it is designed as a combination of a conference, a fair and a festival which promotes excellence in catering and food and beverages production.
In addition to lectures of top culinary experts, famous Michelin star chefs and excellent baristas, the first R'n'B Weekend will also host workshops, tasting events and a world championship of the Barista League, we could say; which means lots of fun moments for visitors. Saša Šestić, the winner of the 2015 World Barista Championship and the head of the Origin project which gathers green coffee manufacturers, has announced his arrival. The same is true for Scott Rao, a leading consultant in the coffee industry and the author of numerous books on coffee preparation and roasting.
The festival organisers are all well known, the makers of the Weekend Media Festival, Tomo Ricov and Boris Kovaček, famous Croatian Chef Mate Janeković, gastro journalist and consultant Hrvoje Petrić, the most decorated Croatian bartender and mixologist Marin Nekić and Cogito Coffee, the project whose quality has been recognised as far as Dubai.
The first R'n'B Weekend Zagreb is organised with the help and support of the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the City of Zagreb, and tickets can be bought via the Entrio system.
