Petshopboys in ZagrebAfter eighteen long years, the Zagreb audience will once again have the opportunity to enjoy a live performance by the mega-popular duo, Pet Shop Boys, who will be holding a concert on November 29th at the Arena. The concert of this famous British electro and synth-pop band is part of their Pandemonium World Tour, with which they will be promoting their latest studio album, “Yes”, recorded earlier this year. With this concert, they will join many Croatian musicians, as well as other foreign performers, in support of the “For a safer step” humanitarian action.

Pet Shop Boys, a two-man band consisting of Londoners, Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant, has been active on the world music scene for the past 25 years. Their cooperation began in 1984 and, since then, they have sold more than a hundred million albums worldwide. Their greatest success came in the early days of their career, during the second half of the 80s, when 42 of their songs made it to the top 30 singles chart, while songs “West End Girls”, one of their very first singles, and “Heart”, were number one in Great Britain as well as the United States for a long time.

Thus far, they have released 18 studio albums and more than 50 mega-popular singles, but their commercial success seems to have no end. Proof of that is this year’s acknowledgement at the Brit Awards, where the duo won a special recognition for their outstanding contribution to British music.
The tickets for the electro-pop spectacle at the Arena, which can be purchased online at www.eventim.hr, have been available since early October, and their price ranges between 220 and 500 Kuna.
