In the very heart of Zagreb, in the green oasis of its parks, you will find the Palace Hotel, which has been receiving guests for over 105 years. Relying on its quality and tradition, the hotel continues to add novelties to its accommodation and catering services. As of recently, the Ministry of Tourism has awarded it with the status of a Heritage Hotel.

Zagreb's Palace Hotel first opened for business way back in 1907. It is located across from the beautiful city park Zrinjevac, only a five-minute leisurely stroll from the main city square and it is surrounded by a number of cultural and public institutions. The four-star hotel is a member of the international chain Worldhotels. It was recently awarded the status of a Heritage Hotel, the first ever in Croatia. To obtain that status a hotel has to boast a long tradition as well as pay particular attention to heritage, which is reflected in the hotel's appearance, its attention to gastronomic traditions and so on. The Palace Hotel's guests can choose from conventional menus as well as very interesting traditional local dishes. The a la carte restaurant also offers many traditional dishes, including the famous strukli of Zagorje, for which the hotel has long been known.

To boost its retro-chic decor, the hotel displays kitchen paraphernalia and other historical artefacts which are very carefully archived and safeguarded.

Many famous guests have chosen the Palace Hotel for their stay in Zagreb. Among them were Sophia Loren, Orson Welles and others.

The hotel rooms have been renovated and redecorated, but they have not lost the charm of yesteryears. The hotel rooms on the first floor, the favourites of many of the older guests, still need to be redecorated. Artists are also especially fond of these rooms and their wishes will come true as the rooms on the first floor will retain their present appearance, so much appreciated by romantic and nostalgic souls.

Besides the numerous offers for tourists and business guests, as of recently the hotel boasts an excellently equipped fitness and wellness centre, and so the hotel guests and citizens of Zagreb will find it a precious spot for relaxation and grooming in the very heart of the city.
