The First Heineken Ice Bar in this part of Europe has been opened in King Tomislav's Square, across the street from the main railway station. Do not drag your feet or you will miss it: the ice bar is closing soon.

Heineken Ice Bar, housed in a 300 square meter igloo tent has become a real sensation among the citizens of Zagreb and their guests. It was opened on 10 February, and all those interested in seeing it can do so until 12 March. The bar is open between noon and midnight on workdays only. During the one month of its operation, Heineken Ice Bar has been the venue of a number of entertainment programs. On Valentine's Day, the icy atmosphere of the bar was heated by the Flashback Band, there have been many other concerts, DJ appearances and other programs, with many more events and competitions still to come.

The entire 300 square meter construction that currently dominates King Tomislav's Square consists of an ice bar sized 7.5 by 10 meters and a 140 square meter igloo tent intended for entertainment. Approximately eight tons of ice went into the building of the bar, and since the place is very special, the «code of conduct» for those entering it is also special. At the entrance, visitors pay 30 Kuna for a ticket that includes an Extra Cold Heineken 0.25 l and a framed photo as a souvenir of their Heineken Ice Bar visit. At the entrance, visitors are also provided with special clothes suitable for sitting in temperatures of minus 10 degrees Centigrade, and the maximum duration of stay in the bar is 15 minutes.
