The world’s most prestigious kickboxing promotion in Zagreb
A Fight Channel production will bring the world’s most prestigious kickboxing promotion, Glory World Series, led by two legendary fighters - Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović and Remy Bonjasky, to Arena Zagreb on March 8th.
On March 8th, Arena Zagreb will once again be the venue for a global fighting spectacle - Glory World Series, produced after last year’s K-1 World Grand Prix Final by Fight Channel. This spectacle represents the best in global fighting sports, and it will be led by two legendary fighters - Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović and Remy Bonjasky, neither of whom need a special introduction for real kickboxing fans.
After winning last year’s K-1 World Grand Prix, beating Ismael Londt at the Zagreb Arena, Mirko Filipović has an impressive streak of ten victories in this competition. Among them is the win over Bonjasky, whom he defeated by technical knockout at the K-1 World Grand Prix in Fukuoka, Japan, in 2002. Therefore, Bonjasky, a three time K-1 champion, will certainly try to even out the score. This fight will once again put Zagreb on the martial arts world map. The arrival of the Glory World Series in Zagreb is a great recognition for Croatia as a major fighting force. Apart from the aforementioned legendary duo, the tournament will also feature two other Croatian fighters - Igor “Istrian Warrior” Jurković and Mladen Brestovac.
Tickets for this spectacle can already be purchased via Eventim, and judging by the current interest, the 15,000 seat venue will be filled to capacity.
