Until September 7th, the Art Pavilion will feature an exhibition of photographs, “Unknown Zagreb by Marija Braut”, which gives visitors the opportunity to see Zagreb as it once was.
If you are a film buff, make sure to visit the Zagreb City Museum featuring the exhibition “A City of Film – A Factory of Dreams”. Zagreb’s film history dates back to 1896. Since then it has been a location for numerous films and TV series.
Between July 18th and 27th, under the slogan “Each Courtyard has its Story”, visitors of the Upper Town will have the opportunity to see the hidden treasures behind the gates of the beautiful courtyards of Zagreb. Owing to a new tourism project, visitors can take a peek into the courtyards, learn about their history and secrets, and hear interesting stories about them.
The first European exhibition of Joan Miró’s masterpieces from the Maeght Foundation will open at the Art Pavilion on October 2nd. It will feature works by the famous Catalan artist from the holdings of the renowned foundation.
Once again, this year, the best pyrotechnic teams from Croatia and abroad will “light-up” the sky above Zagreb. Therefore, make sure to visit Bundek Lake between July 4th and 6th, and enjoy the fireworks display.
The three-day event Tesla & Friends will be held in Zagreb from July 9th to 11th to mark the 158th anniversary of birth of Nikola Tesla, one of our country’s greats and one of the most genius minds in the world.
