    A diverse programme to celebrate the festival’s 18th birthday

    The oldest street festival in Zagreb, Cest is d’Best, will celebrate its 18th birthday this year. To mark this occasion, between June 5th and 11th, more than 500 artists from a dozen countries will participate in various events at numerous locations throughout the city.

    An event with a hundred faces

    Once again Summer at Stross will span one hundred summer days, featuring loads of entertainment and diverse programmes along Strossmayer Promenade, just beneath the Lotršćak Tower in the Upper Town. Everyone is invited to attend Summer at Stross, taking place until September 15th.

    A classical music festival

    The 33rd edition of Zagreb Summer Evenings, a traditional open-air classical music event, will take place between June 27th and July 14th in Grič. It will feature performances by top class Croatian as well as foreign musicians.

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
