Until the end of May, the Zagreb City Museum will feature the third themed exhibition dedicated to Zagreb’s neighbourhoods. This time it is about the history and the neighbourhood symbols of Maksimir.
On May 17th, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall will be the venue for a concert by one of the best Russian sopranos, Julia Lezhneva, who began performing with the greatest opera singers at the age of 18. She will perform together with the Il Giardino Armonico Ensemble.
Marking Zagreb Day on Saturday, May 31st, the Zagreb Tourist Board is gifting the citizens of Zagreb and the visitors with a guided tour of Zagreb.
The 10th jubilee Vip Zagreb Jazz Festival, taking place throughout the year and featuring 15 concerts at various town locations, will kick off on April 8th at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall with a concert by jazz diva Cassandra Wilson.
Should you visit Zagreb between late April and early October, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the always interesting happenings of the Zagreb Time Machine. Every weekend, the city parks and streets will be venues for various events, taking visitors on a romantic journey to the past…
The 16th Festival of St. Mark will feature performances by top class Croatian as well as foreign musicians and renowned ensembles, and it will take place between April 25th and May 10th in concert halls and churches around the city.
Between April 8th and May 10th, the Home of Croatian Artists at the Meštrović Pavilion will be the venue for an exhibition of photographs by the renowned fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh. It will be this year’s only independent European exhibition of this photographer’s work.
On November 6th, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a concert by the Canadian music star Michael Bublé, whose musical talent and wonderful voice attract audiences worldwide.

I remember Zagreb as a beautiful city, and the people I met were very nice and offered me a warm welcome. The audience was wonderful as well. Really, that concert has been like a lovely souvenir.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.
