On every last Friday of the month, the Archaeological Museum, the Art Pavilion and the Modern Gallery will be open between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. as part of the “Long Friday” on the Lenuci’s Horseshoe action for all those who wish to view these museums’ treasures at popular prices.

Wine and beautiful women will be the trademarks of the 2nd Pink Day, an interesting international event organized by the members of the Women on Wine (WOW) Association on March 8th at the Mimara Museum. They are inviting all the connoisseurs of good wine to join them on their “pink day”.

Lauba, The House for People and Art, has been nominated as the European museum of the year, and the winner will be announced in mid-May in Estonia’s capital – Tallinn. The competition includes museums that stand out in terms of innovation and public quality.

After their first performance in 2008, on June 15th the Culture Factory will once again be the venue for a concert by the energetic American gypsy-punk band, Gogol Bordello. There is no doubt that they will again bring the house down.

The Croatian fans of Perpetuum Jazzile are in for a treat: the globally renowned Slovenian music band will hold a concert at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on March 17th.
