At the recently finished online competition for the best European destination that was organized by the European Best Destinations organization, Zagreb took the second place!
Last year was record-breaking for Zagreb’s tourism, surpassing even the goals an independent agency had set up for 2015!
Between February 6th and 9th, the exhibition space of the Croatian Association of Artists will be the venue for the Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest. Once again, visitors are in for a treat at the sweetest event in town!
Among the numerous concerts scheduled for early 2014 at the Croatian Music Institute, one of the most renowned contemporary violinists, Leonidas Kavakos, will hold an exclusive recital on February 7th.
Every year the European Best Destinations organizes the election of the best destination in Europe and in 2014 the winner could be the amazing Zagreb. So vote, vote, vote!
Between February 23rd and March 2nd, the Cineplexx Cinema at Centar Kaptol will be the venue for the 10th ZagrebDox International Festival of Documentary Film, featuring more than 150 of the best documentary films from all over the world.
Throughout the entire year the Botanical Garden will be marking its 125th anniversary. Since its founding, it has belonged to Zagreb University and has played an educational role, gaining a true cultural and historical significance.
I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.
