On November 29th the famous British electro-pop band, Pet Shop Boys, will hold a concert at the Zagreb Arena. Appearing in front of their Zagreb fans for the first time in eighteen years, as part of their Pandemonium Tour, they will be promoting their latest studio album, “Yes”.
On November 18th the small hall of Dom sportova sports hall will be the venue for the concert of guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel, who has a great number of faithful fans in Zagreb, and whose concerts are regularly sold-out.
As part of their latest European tour, the famous Swedish garage-rock band, Mando Diao, will perform at Zagreb’s Boogaloo Club on November 26th. They will be promoting their latest studio album, “Give Me Fire”, which features their current single “Dance With Somebody”.
This year’s Festival of New Circus, which will take place between the 26th and the 30th of November, is dedicated to the phenomenon of female circus. Like in previous years, the audience will have an opportunity to enjoy a colourful repertoire of various circus techniques.
The lovers of the fine art associated with the period of the so-called the intimism have an excellent reason to visit an exhibition which remains open at Zagreb's Modern Gallery until the 13th December. The exhibition offers over 160 works of art by the greatest names of Croatian fine art produced during the first part of last century.
The Zagreb Zoo won the European Carnivore Awareness Award against the competition of a total of 150 European Zoos, which participated in the European Carnivore Campaign 2008 and 2009.
Jazz aficionados will soon have the opportunity to enjoy performances by one of the greatest jazz saxophonists in the world. Zagreb will be host to Sonny Rollins, who will perform as part of this year’s 5th Vip Zagreb Jazz Festival. Soon thereafter, at the 10th No Jazz festival, many other top class jazz musicians will perform.
In the month when numerous wine festivals are being organized, Zagreb will officially open its first wine road along which tourists will be able to visit seven family-owned vineyards and small wineries.
