The great Spanish tenor, José Carreras, will play the Zagreb Arena on December 19th, exactly one year after his concert at Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall.

Tvornica kulture (the popularly known Tvornica) opens a new season with a rich program, featuring prominent Croatian and foreign artists, headed by the globally famous pop-punk band The Offspring.
“Zagreb-Munich”, a great exhibition scheduled to open in late November at the Art Pavilion, will feature works by great Croatian painters, students and professors of the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, who studied and worked there at the turn of the 19th century.
The 7th edition of the World Theatre Festival will be held at several of Zagreb's theaters from September 18th through 26th and will host theater troupes from Russia, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
