In addition to staging interesting exhibitions, the Arts and Crafts Museum continues to be the venue of musical events. The series of 100 Scarlatti sonatas continues to mid-December. The Aulos series of chamber concerts by the wind section of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, which began in May, also continues.
The series of opera premieres planned for this season at the Croatian National Theater will kick off with Georges Bizet's Carmen, an opera considered to be the centerpiece in the repertoire of every opera house. Carmen opens on 7 December.
The Third Scholarship Fair organized at the National and University Library of Zagreb with the participation of very respectable Croatian and foreign institutions, presented over 70 scholarships and other forms of financial assistance available to Croatian citizens interested in university education in Croatia and abroad.
An attractive presentation of the most interesting customs of Zagorje ended a fascinating cultural event, 'In Pursuit of Old Customs', which had drawn many visitors to Marija Bistrica.
The best world figure skaters will again delight audiences in Zagreb this November. The Golden Spin continues this year.
This year, the festival will focus on the phenomenon of acoustic circus so the shows will largely rely on auditory contents, be it speech, music or sound generated in many other ways.
Fulvio Molinari, a writer and journalist of Croatian origin, has prepared an interesting exhibition of the last Barcolana, a major regatta which has been taking place in Trieste since 1969.
Although the new film program has been going on since mid-September, it is worth it to remind audiences that European and Croatian art film productions will continue to be shown at the Tuškanac cinema until 21 December.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.
