On October 22nd, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a performance by the Yamato Drummers. They will visit Zagreb for the fourth time and present the best of their skills as part of the tour with which they are celebrating 20 years of existence.
As part of their new tour, and just a year after their last performance in the Croatian capital, the British pop trio, Morcheeba, will once again hold a concert at Zagreb’s Culture Factory on December 11th.
The jubilee 10th edition of the INmusic Festival will take place at Zagreb’s Jarun Lake between June 22nd and 24th 2015. Preparations for the festival’s 10th birthday celebration have already started, and instead of the usual two days, the festival will last for three whole days.
Until the end of October the Technical Museum will be host to the “Days of Bread” event, which is primarily aimed at children who will have the opportunity to learn about the long tradition of bread making, but also actively participate in it by sowing wheat, crushing it by hand, and finally mixing the bread dough.
Croatia and Hungary will be hosts to the European Women’s Handball Championship between December 7th and 21st. A total of sixteen national teams will compete in six different cities in the two host countries.
A new concert season, featuring performances by excellent young musicians, is in full swing at Gvozdanović City Palace on Visoka Street in the Upper Town. Just like in the old days, after each concert visitors will be able to stay on and socialize in the salon.
In July 2016, Zagreb and Rijeka will host the European Universities Games, in which more than five thousand student athletes from 350 European universities will be competing.
