A fiery spectacle in the sky above Zagreb

Once again, this year, the best pyrotechnic teams from Croatia and abroad will “light-up” the sky above Zagreb. Therefore, make sure to visit Bundek Lake between July 4th and 6th, and enjoy the fireworks display.

The skies over Zagreb will once again be sparkling with different colours the first weekend of July which is reserved for the International Fireworks Festival. It is being organized for the 14th consecutive year, and it will feature pyrotechnic teams from France, Belgium and, of course, Croatia. A jury of experts, as well as the spectators, will decide who to proclaim as the best fireworks specialists of this fiery spectacle.

The International Fireworks Festival will take place on the bank of the Sava River, near Bundek Lake, and all competitive fireworks displays will be set off to music perfectly synchronised with the pyrotechnic effects in the sky. It is one of the most demanding forms of fireworks displays, seldom undertaken by pyrotechnic experts, unless they are presented with a special occasion such as a big celebration of some sort or contest such as this one. Therefore, make sure to attend this spectacle between July 4th and 6th, join thousands of other spectators, and enjoy the diverse cultural and music programme. The programme will begin every evening at 9 p. m. on the Bundek Summer Stage, and it will feature performances by leading Croatian actors and musicians until late into the night.
