After the calm comes a real electro “storm”

After a five-year hiatus, fans of electronic music and renowned Croatian DJs will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the good old Future Sound of Zagreb, the most prestigious and best attended two-day club festival in Zagreb. It will take place on the 4th and 5th of May at the Boogaloo Club and feature more than 20 DJs.

After a five year hiatus, the Future Sound of Zagreb (FSOZ) is once again returning to the Zagreb club scene for its jubilee 10th edition. On the 4th and 5th of May, some 20 DJs will perform at the Boogaloo Club in what was once the most prestigious and best attended electro festival in Zagreb. Of course, included in the festival are the best known Croatian DJs who have been at the top of Zagreb’s electro scene for many years, so much so that they once headlined the legendary parties Perfection and Astralis, which were once regularly attended by many fans from Croatia as well as the neighbouring countries.

If the reputation of the Future Sound of Zagreb itself is not a sufficiently appealing invitation, audiences will be attracted by the thousands of performances by many DJs, including Ganesh, Koorie, Utilizer aka M-Run, Stevo, Ivica Petak, Ludvig & Go Cut, Mr. DJ Dario, Petar Dundov, Frx, Mary, Cet, E Jay Maminho, Toxic, Pete Dux, Zero, Teo Haruda, Zoky, Wyrus, and one newcomer – the FSOZ DJ Contest Winner. It will be two days to remember.

The Future Sound of Zagreb is the largest and best known club festival of electronic music in Zagreb, and between 1999 and 2007 it was regularly held once a year. The first, now legendary edition, took place on three floors and for an audience of 4000 people in order to celebrate the jubilee 200th TV episode of TOP DJ MAG on June 21, 1999 at the former discotheque The Best. From that time until 2007, the festival also featured numerous foreign DJs such as Marco Bailey, La Di Da, Oscar Mullero and many others. Since the original concept of a multi-floor party never changed, the idea remains the same; to promote the best DJs in Zagreb, as well as different styles of electronic music and the domestic urban electronic scene in the widest sense of the word.

The first evening of the festival will feature performances by DJs Ganesh, Koorie, M-Run and Stevo, while the rest of the DJs, as well as headliners of the aforementioned Perfection and Astralis parties, will entertain audiences on three floors during the second evening.

The excellent electronic music will be complemented by an exciting laser light show and visual effects.
