An icon of electronic sound - St. Germain at Tvornica Kulture (Culture Factory)

On November 7th, fans of electronic music will have the opportunity to enjoy a performance by French musician St. Germain at the Culture Factory (Tvornica Kulture). Along with a band of nine musicians, he will promote his latest album “Real Blues”.

On November 7th, St. Germain will perform at the Culture Factory as part of his European tour promoting his latest studio album – “Real Blues”. The gifted French musician, Ludovico Navarre, better known under his stage-name St. Germain, is considered an icon of electronic sound by numerous fans of electronic music, deep house and the fusion of electronic sound with blues and jazz.

Although he has been active for many years, he has released only two studio albums – “Boulevard” in 1995 and “Tourist” five years later, but St. Germain is considered one of the pioneers of French house and nu-jazz. He was among the first to experiment with blues and gospel samples, combining them with light dance rhythms.

His new album, “Real Blues”, was inspired by his love for music originating from the African country of Mali, and he recorded it in cooperation with African musicians, blending traditional African instruments, an electric guitar, keyboards and the saxophone with electronic loops.

St. Germain is touring Europe accompanied by a band of nine musicians.
