“Croatia is Hrvatska” – An Interactive Time Machine Through Croatian History

The interactive exhibition “Croatia is Hrvatska” for the first time in Croatia’s history will turn the full length of the Grič tunnel into the biggest Croatian time machine.

If the many visitors to the Grič tunnel in the coming days haven’t been much cheered by the news that the tunnel is being temporarily closed for works, they will be glad to know that one of the most popular tourist attractions is at least being closed until 16 September for a good reason. Organised by insurance company Croatia Osiguranje in cooperation with the Zagreb Tourist Board, one of the most attractive multimedia interactive exhibitions with a historical theme in Zagreb this year is being prepared right here. This will be an impressive exhibition dedicated to the intriguing and provocative parallel histories of Zagreb, Croatia and the oldest Croatian insurance company, Croatia Osiguranje.

The interactive exhibition “Croatia is Hrvatska” for the first time in Croatia’s history will turn the full length of the Grič tunnel into the biggest Croatian time machine which, between 16 September and 1 November, will take visitors on a journey through 13 decades of the course of history of Croatian society, economic development and modernisation.
The exhibition will consist of numerous attractive historical exhibits, multimedia depictions of significant artefacts, legendary musical numbers as well as numerous multimedia and interactive points which will appeal to all generations. The exhibition is educational in character, and visitors will get to know with a great many attractions and surprises which will make their journey through time an unforgettable cultural and visual feast.
