Cult Band, The Vibrators, at the Vintage Industrial Bar
The increasingly popular Vintage Industrial Bar in Zagreb will open its second season with yet another musical treat – a concert by the legendary punk rock band The Vibrators on September 7th. The opening act will be the Zagreb punk rock band Eksodus, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
On September 7th, the increasingly popular Vintage Industrial Bar in Zagreb will be the venue for a concert by the cult punk rock band The Vibrators. These music rebels are responsible for the emergence of the punk rock scene, which changed the course of the development of rock’n’roll. It all started in 1976 at the legendary “Club 100” in London. That autumn, the first International Punk Festival featured the Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Siouxie and The Banshees, as well as The Vibrators, who started an entirely new chapter in the history of music.
During the 37 years of their existence, The Vibrators have released some twenty studio albums and ten live albums, as well as countless compilation records. Six years after an excellent performance at the Bogaloo Club in 2007, they are once again returning to Zagreb. At the Vintage Industrial Bar, which is becoming an increasingly popular nightlife venue, the band will be promoting their latest album, “On the Guest List”, but the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy most of their older hits as well. The opening act for The Vibrators will be the Zagreb punk rock band Eksodus, which is celebrating thirty years of their career.
Although the Vintage Industrial Bar was only opened last year, it has already gained fame as a great nightlife venue thanks to the excellent concerts that are frequently organized there. The club is located in the former button factory on Savska Street 160, and it was conceived as a place for urban concerts, literary evenings, film projections, private parties etc. The name of the club reflects its interior design, a mixture of industrial and contemporary styles. The Vintage Industrial Bar is also attractive for its excellent prices.
Tickets for The Vibrators concert, which cost a symbolic 20 kuna, can be purchased only at the venue itself. On the day of the concert, ticket prices will be 40 kuna.
