Dear citizens and guests of Zagreb!

With the arrival of autumn and temperatures still conducive to outdoors pursuits, we continue the streak of attractive tourist events while also celebrating new records in tourist arrivals in the city which has been recognised as a European tourist destination.

The month of October kicked off in style with a major tourist bonanza, White Night, an event which is bound to provide citizens and visitors with an unforgettable experience of the city where whole-day programmes transpired in the rhythm of art.

The very beginning of the month is marked by the fun-packed Vintage Festival; a unique blend of the 1940s, 50s and 60s and their impact on music, fashion, film, arts, dance and design. For eight days, the festival events will take place in the main square and bring joy to one and all with their lively atmosphere and positive energy.

The month continues with a gastronomic treat, the very popular project known as Restaurant Week. The promotional activity under that name is aimed at giving publicity to the gastronomic scene of the Republic of Croatia in cooperation with numerous restaurants which will lure guests with their special promotional offers. The event, which has been adapted to the Croatia market, models itself after similar events in other world capitals and patrons simply love it.

Finally, we invite you to visit the Zagreb Fair, which is experiencing a major shift in its business operations as the fair activities are being redesigned to meet the demands and needs of the national economy. An example of the new business model is Ambienta, the international furniture, interior decoration and the subcontracting industry fair with novelties in terms of concept and communication. In mid-October, the fair will present the strength and potentials of the timber industry.
