Film Lovers, On Your Marks! A Feast of Festivals

October is film month with an array of interesting festivals, from tourist film to Croatian Film Night.

Organised by Zagreb Tourist Board and Balduči Film, the Zagreb Tourfilm Festival 2018, an international festival of tourist film, will be held in the Kaptol Boutique Cinema & Bar from 10 to 12 October. The Festival awards films and audiovisual productions which promote the following aspects of tourism: destinations, adventure tourism, extreme sports, sports tourism, nautical tourism, hotels and resorts, people, culture and traditions, religious tourism, rural tourism and congress tourism.

The third Arab Film Festival, organised by the Croatian Arab Friendship Society, will be held in Zagreb on 10 and 11 October 2018 in Kino Tuškanac. The Festival presents the latest film from the Arab world.

From 19 to 21 October film lovers can attend the 9^th One Take Film Festival, an international festival of works filmed in one take. The festival includes almost all genres and the length of the films is not limited.

International Animation Day 2018 will be celebrated in Kino Tuškanac on 27 and 28 October with screenings of animations, workshops for children, talks with film-makers about the making of their films, exhibitions and music.

In Kino Europa and throughout Croatia on 6 October another Night of Croatian Film and New Media will be held. With more than 100 Croatian films of all genres, this festival will once again attract a record number of visitors to cinema halls and the big screen.
