Morcheeba once again at Tvornica Kulture (The Culture Factory)
As part of their new tour, and just a year after their last performance in the Croatian capital, the British pop trio, Morcheeba, will once again hold a concert at Zagreb’s Culture Factory on December 11th.
Just a year after their last performance in the Croatian capital, the British pop trio Morcheeba is returning to the Culture Factory where they will hold a concert on December 11th. The concert will take place as part of their tour “Greatest Hits – Plugged & Unplugged”, during which audiences will have the opportunity to hear the band’s best songs written over almost two decades of their existence. The band members have made sure to include the Culture Factory on the schedule of this tour.
Morcheeba was founded in the mid 90s, during the emergence of trip-hop on the global music scene. The band gained popularity with their first album, “Who Can You Trust”, thanks to the unique voice of the lead singer, Skye Edwards, who forms the band along with the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey. Morcheeba cemented its popularity on the global music scene with its second album, “Big Calm”, which went down in history as one of the most popular albums of the decade, and which included great hits such as “Blindfold”, “Shoulder Holster” and “The Sea”. After the release of the album “Charango” in 2002, singer Skye Edwards left the band, and despite great efforts and cooperation with several experienced singers, the Godfrey brothers struggled to find an adequate replacement for her fascinating voice. Fortunately, after eight years of absence, Skye Edwards returned to the band which then released the album “Blood Like Lemonade”, followed by the album “Head Up High”, released last year.
Tickets for the Morcheeba concert can be purchased for 150 kuna apiece at all Eventim and Entrio box offices. The price of tickets on the day of the concert will be 170 kuna.
