Romeo and Juliet and Snow White on Ice

On December 23rd, the Zagreb audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the best known love story by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, as well as the famous fairy tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the ice rink of the Dom Sportova Sports Hall. The two glamorous shows will be performed by Russian ice skaters who have been conquering the world with this attractive programme.

Following numerous theatre and screen versions, the best known love story of all time - Romeo and Juliet, by the great William Shakespeare, is now conquering the world as a spectacular show on ice, which the Zagreb audience will have the opportunity to enjoy live on December 23rd, beginning at 8 P.M. On the same day, starting at 3 P.M., younger generations will have the opportunity to enjoy an equally attractive spectacle on ice - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. These two exclusive shows will be performed by Russian ice skaters, members of the Moscow Stars on Ice troupe, who are visiting Croatia for the first time as part of their extensive world tour. Both shows will take place at the ice rink of the Dom Sportova Sports Hall.

As the name suggests, the Moscow Stars on Ice ensemble is composed of legendary ice skaters from Russia, including many Olympic medallists, European and world champions, and numerous circus performers who have been working together since 1986. They have performed many shows to date, and their Romeo and Juliet, the tragic love story on ice, has already won over audiences worldwide. There is no doubt they will also win over the Croatian audience, who are major figure skating fans.

The well-known story of Romeo and Juliet and their tragic love prevented by their feuding families, the Capulets and the Montagues, has been retold in many different ways, but this spectacle adds another dimension to the famous tale. Tragic love and cold ice will not sadden the audience; on the contrary, they will warm the hearts of all those who will have the opportunity to enjoy it live.

The younger generations, on the other hand, will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful fairy tales of all time, another favourite of all generations. This time, however, the story of pretty Snow White, her friends the dwarfs, her evil step-mother and her magical mirror will be interpreted by some of the best ice skaters in the world.
