Soulfingers at the Oleander Terrace of the Esplanade Hotel

Make sure not to miss Tea Time Music, beginning every Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Oleander Terrace of the Esplanade Hotel, where the band Soulfingers will entertain you with unforgettable soul music and film soundtracks for four hours at a time. Entrance is free.

Every Thursday throughout July, starting at 5 p.m., the citizens of Zagreb and their guests can enjoy the Tea Time Music programme at the Oleander Terrace of the Esplanade Hotel. The event is a stage music show by the renowned Croatian soul and funk band, Soulfingers, brothers Denis and Haris, who have conceived this programme in cooperation with the hotel.

The programme will begin at the traditional time of English tea with the raising of the TTM flag accompanied by an anthem specially composed by Soulfingers. These informal events will offer great music and positive vibes in a relaxed atmosphere. Known for their great music performances and showmanship, Soulfingers will undoubtedly attract numerous fans of soul and film music. The programme will last four full hours, and a good time will also be guaranteed by DJ Mario Kovač.

Through cooperation with this great band, the Esplanade Hotel is once again opening its door to eminent musicians, the kind that used to entertain generations of Zagreb’s citizens at the Oleander Terrace and who made the hotel a veritable hotspot of Zagreb’s social life ever since it was opened in 1925. The Tea Time Music programme, and its film music, will revive the spirit of the times when silver screen stars such as Orson Welles, Omar Sharif, the unforgettable Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and many others stayed there. There will be no entrance fee to this informal and entertaining gathering, which will be organized every Thursday for Zagreb’s citizens and their guests by the Esplanade Hotel, and drinks will be sold at popular prices.
