Swedish Garage-rock Band at the Boogaloo Club
As part of their latest European tour, the famous Swedish garage-rock band, Mando Diao, will perform at Zagreb’s Boogaloo Club on November 26th. They will be promoting their latest studio album, “Give Me Fire”, which features their current single “Dance With Somebody”.
On November 26th Zagreb’s Boogaloo Club will be the venue for a concert by one of the currently most popular Swedish rock bands, Mando Diao. The five-member band, whose music is most commonly described as garage-rock, will visit Zagreb as part of their European tour with which they are promoting their latest studio album “Give Me Fire”. The album was released in February this year and the single, “Dance With Somebody”, is a very popular radio track.
Mando Diao was already supposed to perform in Zagreb in 2005 as a supporting band to The White Stripes, which fell through but, finally, the fans can now enjoy their live performance.
Roots of the band reach back to1995 and their first public performance took place in 1999. In 2004 they gained international fame when they were pronounced one of the best, new European bands.
Their first studio album, “Bring 'Em In”, was recorded in 2002. A year later they recorded their famous single, “Sheepdog”, which won numerous international acknowledgements. Their second album, “Hurricane Bar” was recorded in 2004 and, two years later, the third one, “Ode to Ochrasy” was produced.
By the end of 2006 they released a DVD named “Down in the Past” and, in 2007, they produced the album “Never Seen The Light Of Day”. Their latest album is “Give Me Fire”, which they will be promoting in Zagreb. Tickets for the concert can be purchased online at www.eventime.hr.
