The 10th INmusic Festival

After the recent concert by Morrisey, which was held at the Zagreb Fair as an introduction to the jubilee 10th edition of the INmusic Festival, performers have started sending their confirmations to appear at this year’s edition of the largest open-air festival in Croatia.

The INmusic Festival will be held between June 22nd and 24th at Jarun Lake. However, instead of on the two islands where it took place for the first time last year, it will take place on three of Jarun’s islands this time around – the Island of Youth, and the Trešnjevka and Univerzijada islands, where the festival camp will be located.

Among the first performers to confirm their appearances are the Californian stoner rock band “Eagles of Death Metal”, and the British newcomer, the electro duo “We Are Shining”.

The band “Eagles of Death Metal” was formed in 1998, but released its first album, “Peace, Love & Death Metal”, in 2004. During its existence the band has frequently changed its line-up, but it has recently released three albums and has gained cult status among fans.

“We Are Shining” is the name of a new electro duo comprised of Morgan Zarate and Aysianide Spills, a.k.a. A-Cyde, from London, although they have been present on the music scene since the late 1990s, when they were members of the post trip-hop band “Spacek”. Last fall they released their debut album, “Kara”, and immediately gained praise from critics. They also attracted attention with their first mix tape, “Devil Eye”, released in February 2014, featuring the trip-hop princess Eliza Doolittle.
