The Croatian History Museum –Dubrovnik during the Croatian War of Independence 1991-1995

The Croatian History Museum on 30 March opened the touring exhibition “Dubrovnik during the Croatian War of Independence 1991-1995”. This is a guest exhibition organised by Dubrovnik's Museum of the Croatian War of Independence, the first museum of this kind in Croatia.

The guest exhibition by Dubrovnik's Museum of the Croatian War of Independence in the Croatian History Museum in Zagreb also marks the 25th anniversary of an exceptionally important operation by the Croatian army in 1992 which completely liberated the south of the country. The touring guest exhibition “Dubrovnik during the Croatian War of Independence 1991-1995” covers four themes: Preparations for Defence, Serbian and Montenegrin Aggression in 1991, Victory Day – Freeing the Croatian South in 1992 and the Suffering of Dubrovnik in the Croatian War of Independence. The exhibition presents more than 350 original artefacts from the Museum's collection as well as documentary video recordings.

The exhibition runs until 29 October 2017.
