The festival of sustainable living
Visitors of the 6th ZeGeVege Festival of sustainable living, taking place on the 6th and the 7th of September at Ban Jelačić Square, will have the opportunity to view stands with local and foreign health food products, eco-friendly cosmetics, as well as enjoy an array of interesting educational and entertainment events.
On September 6th and 7th, Zagreb’s central square, Ban Josip Jelačić, will be the venue for the 6th ZeGeVege Festival of sustainable living. The festival, which is being organized as part of the international project Veganmania, is once again expected to attract numerous visitors.
This year’s ZeGeVege Festival of sustainable living will feature exhibits by more than 60 local as well as foreign producers of health food and eco-friendly cosmetics that were not tested on animals. The festival will also feature cooking workshops, lectures, dance lessons and a playground with workshops for the youngsters. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend various tastings of vegan food and benefit from the promotional sale of plant products, obtain free cosmetics and hair treatments, view short documentary films and participate in prize giveaways. Therefore, there is no doubt that this year’s ZeGeVege Festival will attract tens of thousands of visitors, possibly even more than last year’s 30,000.
This unique festival in Croatia, which promotes sustainable eco-friendly products, is backed by the City Office for Agriculture and Forestry, the City Office for Health and Veterans, the City Office for Energy, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, the Zagreb Tourist Board, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
