Three times a day, from Munich to Zagreb
As of late April, Zagreb and Munich have been linked by bus connections of the highest standard three times a day. The tour operator Panturist became part of the prestigious Arriva Deutsche Bahn group, so Zagreb and Munich are closer than ever before.
If you want to get to know Zagreb, and live in Munich or its vicinity, there is a new option to do so – by Inter City Bus, which now connects the two cities three times a day. This initiative is a direct result of Panturist becoming part of the largest European transport company, Arriva Deutsche Bahn, in May of last year. The new owner of Panturist invested 20 million kuna into new busses, the renovations of six Panturist bus terminals, and the expansion of the spectrum of services and increasing the quality of transport.
Modern Inter City busses leave for Zagreb from Munich three times a day, at 7.45 a.m., 3.45 p.m. and 11.45 p.m. With a short stop in Ljubljana, the trip lasts 7.5 hours. This is the first IC bus line in Croatia, and their seventh in Europe. Apart from comfort and safety, they offer free wi-fi access, laptop electricity plugs, as well as drinks and snacks. Depending on the time of departure, a one way ticket costs from 199 kuna, or 25 euro.
