When Zagreb is Ruled by Puppets – the 50th PIF International Puppet Theatre Festival

In a Jubilee year, for the 50th time, from 16 to 22 September Croatia’s capital city will be ruled by puppets.

The PIF International Puppet Theatre Festival this year too will present the best-known puppet theatre shows and the most eminent achievements of European and international productions. The performances, the street programme, the exhibitions, the puppetry workshops and competitions, the films, round tables and seminars and publishing activities will make Zagreb the most significant destination for the puppet world. With its 50 year tradition, PIF has hosted almost 1000 performances, while the festival has been watched by around 10,000 people, big and small. There is no doubt that this year will be the same because over the years PIF has become one of the best-known events in Zagreb.
