Whitesnake in Croatia again in June!
On 15 June, Zagreb’s Dom Sportova sports hall will be host to the hard rock band Whitesnake. Since 2011, they have been on their world tour, named “Forevermore” after their latest album.
The legendary hard rock band, Whitesnake, which was founded in 1977 by former Deep Purple frontman, David Coverdale, is returning to Croatia on 15 June, 5 years after holding an excellent live performance during an open air event in Osijek.
The Zagreb concert, which will take place in the large hall of Dom Sportova, will be part of their large tour, “Forevermore”, which they launched in 2011. After treating fans across the world to their hard rock rhythms they took a break from studio recording, only to continue touring where they had stopped.
All members of the band live and enjoy rock music 24 hours a day so this comeback of sorts is a great reflection on how much fun they have on stage. This is fortunate for the fans who have not had the chance to be part of the “Forevermore” atmosphere during the first half of the tour.
The band Whitesnake has recorded many hits characterized by a hard rock sound, as well as excellent ballads with Coverdale’s renowned blues and soul touch.
In the late 1970s and the early 1980s the band predominantly played excellent blues, but it gained world fame after turning to a somewhat harder rock sound on their 1984 album “Slide It In” and the 1987 mega-album “Whitesnake”. These albums provided them with global success which continues to this day. In that time, they have recorded numerous hits which have held high positions on the global charts. Among them are: Here I Go Again, Is This Love, and the energetic Still Of The Night, while the latest album they recorded, the aforementioned “Forevermore”, also features some great hits.
What they sound and look like today can be heard and seen by everyone who buys a ticket, which can be purchased for 199 kuna at www.eventim.hr.
